3 card poker strategy
With only 3 cards involved in a hand you would think there wouldn’t be too much involved. Well your right and a 3 card poker strategy is much simpler than other card and casino games.
A ante bet does not have much involved besides placing your bet and so too does the pair-plus in that you can’t do anything for a pair-plus bet besides put down your chips involved for that bet and if you get a pair, then you get paid off.
The optimal hand for long term success is Q-6-4 or higher. Generally you wouldnt play anything lower then this. Your own cards are the only cards you get to view and make a decision on whether or not to play or fold. Most regular players measure whether to play with a Q-6-4 as the measuring hand. The high card between these odds and K-Q-10 are loss limit plays because these are hands with negative expectations. Ace high hands tend to have positive expectations.
An example of this strategy would be a Q-7-3 as being a hand better and maybe worth raising with. A Q-6-3 would be a hand you would look to fold with. Using this strategy increases your odds as a player and in the case of a tie the win would be for the player.
